The Internet has Ruined SOFTBALL

I really can't believe what the internet has done to softball. What happened to the good ole days when you entered a tournament(by phone),got called on Friday with game time, and showed up Saturday for your game. Back then there was no crying about who had who, you took your ass whoopin like men and tried again at the next tournament. I"ve never seen so many scared teams in my life. If teams would just sack up and play up they would see that talent these days is alot closer then back in the day!! Its all about just going out playin the game right, and leaving it all on the field. It is underhand no matter what level you play(A/B/C does not throw overhand). You know certain teams get punished for playing up, but when they get beat by E teams I dont hear them say...OK you can play D now!!! However if there was no internet(like back in the day), nobody would know who did what when!!! Somebody on here has a great quote......Shut Up and PLAY!!! Sorry been holding this in for some time...back to my meds;)

Rich, when I see you at Outback this weekend, remind me to give you my therapist's number. Dr. Julio Rubenstein has done wonders for me when it comes to softball issues, eventhough I am still in a " stage ", he promises me that I will get better and accept what softball has become. Oh and I will buy you a Heiny or Boood Light.

i find it entertaining. it's hard to believe the people whining are serious, but the fact that they are and that there are real heated arguments about this just plain funny. i was wondering why 99% of the threads only talk about c,d and e teams and players. certainly not enough about AJS. see you this weekend.

You will not hear too much about A.J.S., because we play the game ON THE FIELD , where it should be played. If I see our players on this or any board being too critical of ANYBODY involved with the game,I never have too much to say but, they WILL HEAR ABOUT IT!!!!!!!
