I apologize for not realizing that NSA had already scheduled their Winter Nationals on this date. I was not part of the summit and as you know was out most of the summer due to health issues. I will try and get the dates changed and put a new post up ASAP.

I have apologized for not knowing about a conflict with NSA on the weekend of February 19-21. I talked with our CEO here at the National Office about changing the dates and checked with the parks and we are unable to change. I wrote Charlie LaRoche and John Lynch an e-mail earlier this afternoon and this is what I told them:

Gentlemen:

I am sorry but I was unaware of there being a conflict on this date for Winter Nationals. We are unable to change the date as the parks have other commitments and there is nothing open to change to. Super Bowl weekend we are out of town, Fast Pitch has the parks on Valentine's weekend and the Rebel Games have the last weekend in February until the 2nd weekend in April.

National crrespondence went out earlier this week and teams are already making plans. Last year we were on sparate weekends and only had 5 out of 38 NSA teams and 44 USSSA teams play in both. The most were in the "C" Division; they were the 5 that played in both. If those numbers stay the same we should not have much of a conflict.

There is a curfew at the park and I can't go past it. I always try to play just Saturday and Sunday getting out as early as we can on Sunday.
