They were Sky Hotels before they changed their name to Middles Open. So, they were an "E" team with 2 Elite pickups and they had to play in the 3hr division. They Sky Hotel is still an "E" team. If they lose those two Elite Pick ups they are "E". Which is the the team you saw yesterday in Ocala. Hell, we had 3 guys we picked up from a league team in Kissimmee. So, now you have the facts and you can keep your mouth shut. Like I said, if you want to talk about this face to face then come and find me at a park. I hate it when people get on here and run their mouth and they don't have a clue. You lost, that might be your main problem!!!!!!

If it was all about the money then there would have been more teams in it. The director can not do anything unless a team protest that roster. That is the bottom line. You are making this a big deal when it doesn't need to be. We started out 2009 as an "E" team and we have never been reclassified to a "D" team. That is what your not understanding. I can be an "E" player and play up in 10 tournaments and still be an "E" player.

It probably says that b/c they moved up to play in the 3hr division. But, if we never picked up those 3 Elite players it would say 1hr. If they go by U-trip and NSA roster class then those guys are "E" I believe.

He ran his mouth a little bit, not too bad... Their SS hit a missile up the middle and missed my face by about 3" or so. The next inning their pitcher came out with a mask on. Not sure if it was intentional or not. Tommy had a VERY tight strike zone that last game. It was tough to pitch... You had to set the ball right down the heart of the plate.

I know for sure there must be a few decent looking girls that work at Hooters, someone needs to let them know that there was a MEN'S tourney there and should have put them on....... YUCKKKKKKK scrub work on that would you!

Yea dude... the Ocala Hooters has gone wayyyy downhill the past few years. The better places to go are Winghouse and Barbazons... but they are further away from the ball park. Not really sure why anyone goes to Hooters anymore when there is now a Gators Dockside across the street. Gators has a lot better food and there is very little decent scenery at Hooters.

Mr. Raiders, you are truly correct in saying this "Evo-Open" team should not have been playing. Rules are rules, and if Middles Open is classified 'Upper' then any players from that team is Upper.
I have also been told that the 3rd place team was, in fact, comprised of 4 Stealth players and 4 Roaddogs/No Doubt players. Such as it is, that team should have not been playing either. I can only assume Freedom dropped the ball, Mr. Raiders.
However, please don't come on here crying about Upper players in your tournament when it is said your team led the whole tournament in Inning Ending HRs. If you were a true E/Lower team, this would not be the case. Maybe your team should, as the kids today say "nut up" and play where you belong too.
I'll see if I can find some of that spare courage I had for Mr. Lion and have it shipped priority before your next tournament.

Now, now, Mr. Glove. That's not very nice. I did not say anything negative regarding you or your team, yet you proceed to impy I am ignorant and lacking brains. You, sir, are out of line and incorrect in your assumptions.
Evolution is a registered Lower team in Freedom. Middle's Open in an Upper team. No matter what kind of spin Mr. Invest, Iras or whomever allows to these teams, it is completely wrong to allow Evolution to play a tournament with, as Mr. Bubba stated earlier, at least 6 players from Middle's Open.
There is no gray area, there is no "Elite Players" options in the rules. Point blank, your team is an upper team. You are allowed to play on a Lower team as "pick ups" according to the rules. Now, if the shady powers-that-be allow your team to play Lower, then I would just caution you as to when you choose to do this, as someone may protest this, and if that happens, you may be stuck holding your own.

So, as a team we played up to 3hr just b/c of the two guys we picked up. The team was not classified as "D"... So, with out those two pick ups we are a 1hr team.


The thing that cracks me up about all of this is we didn't even win the freaking tournament.. If that would have happened, we would have 20 pages on this thread by now I'm sure....

I think it may be your intelligence that may be insulted. All I simply did was produce the evidence of classification to said sanctions of the softball governing bodies that influence the Freedom sanctioning.

Thus evidence can easily be obtained by you visiting one of the previous said web sites.


Once again Middles Open is a E team that plays up. ( When our elite Players are PRESENT)
Evolution is a E team that will play E and will have no problem playing up just to play your team whoever it is. I will request to play your team as soon as you tell me which tournament you will be at and what team I should request to play first.

One last thing as far as points being made. Points are just like opinions’ give your points and opinions to a million people and they are still that.

However, Mr. Bubba, was Middle's Open (as a TEAM), not moved up to D by all Sunshine Summit sanctions at the beginning of this year? That would make EVERY player on the roster a D player.
Although I understand that this team (Middle's Open), which by the way, you do not have to defend as you are no longer a part of, was told they may play Lower as a different team, why would they not play as Evolution all the time and just "play up" as Evolution from time to time? Plus, there is too much shady roster issues within Freedom to not understand anyone's frustration regarding Upper/Lower/Elite players.
I was informed recently by a reliable source within the association that although the rules were Upper may have 2 Elite pick-ups on their roster, certain issues have arose that the rules may be adjusted as to have only 2 in the line-up, and as many on your roster as you see fit. That is, until they need these rules changed to benefit certain teams...again.

I was only informed, sir, I do not have specifics. I do feel if you have replied to this, that means you were in attendance along with Mr. Buky. I would assume Little Buky was also there, which already makes 3 Roaddawgs/No Doubt players along with the other supposed 4 Stealth players.

How ablout getting someone to clarify this Evo/M.O. deal from your side now? You, Robert and Ken can just state what the deal is so noone has any gripes after that. At least this way the players don't have to defend what was told to them, and all these whiners have it in black and white.

just to clarify, I don't care who was playing for Evo this weekend or what the deal is with Freedom regarding the Evo-M.O. roster thing. What's bothering me about this is the fact you have all 3 "decision makers" from Freedom on this site several times a day and noone has just spoken up regarding this.
Premo, MAC, Bubba, RayRay, all of you guys are having to defend yourselves for this for no reason. All it takes is someone from Freedom to stop poosay-footing around and just step up. In no way am I trying to htrow you guys under the bus or start sh!t with you guys, you know me better than that.

this fricken thread is so dumb, i have played agianst middles open/ evolution and they are a good solid quality "e" team, that could possible compete in "d" (no offense guys) they play with class and they are a good group of guys. i dont know for sure but i dont think they have won any tournaments as a team yet (i could be wrong) they chose to go up on their own, so stop fricken whinning, so if your team is not good enough to beat them then make your team better.

as far as edison goes, this guy was an absolute stud that played for me on primetime reloaded. back then he could have easily played upper divisions. he took 2 years off and now just wants to play with his friends and is not quite the player he was, i'm sure he will be one day again. but if he hasnt played in two years he can play where he wants. if you think you can take 2 plus years off and come back to the level you were, your mistaken. get over it, make your team better, put up the money, or just shut up!!!!!!!

I have to say I have got better in the 3 years I have taken off of tournament softball.
But I have also kept hitting softballs a couple times a month .
I have strength trained , healed all injuries, and lost all excess weight... from workin my cardio, and from not drinkin BEER anymore...and I also played adult baseball for 7 months in 2007, and did some mma training in 2008. I think it has made my all around skills even better.
So I guess I can get ready for all the bitchin, and cryin when I start playin tourney ball again in the next month or so..... probably for an E or D team... :D

I always enjoyed playin ball with them, gotta a lot of good memories from when I was with Dirty Dozen..from beginning to end.
