Our Softball Family Loses another Member.

Marty’s Boys softball family suffers a huge loss. For the last 3 years Brian Davidson played right center field for me. Brian lost his life last night in a car accident. Brian was 27. He will be sorely missed from my (our) softball family. A dear friend is gone. I am truly at a loss for words and sit here writing this beside myself. This has totally devastated me, every single player on Marty’s Boys team and anyone that was close to Brian. My thoughts, my prayers and my love go out to Brian, his family and to his brother Michael who was in the car with him. RIP my friend.

Ive know Brian for a few years now and when I got the call at 6am today I thought I was dreaming!!! Brian was a great guy!! Always joking always laughing just a really cool cat to know and hang with!!

I found out Sunday morning about the accident after reading Jay's post...Brian was not a close friend of mine but we hung out on many occasions during tourneys all over the state. I can't imagine how hard it must be on Marty's Boy's and his loved ones. I can speak for everyone on Evil when I say he will be missed.

I heard this tragic news at the tourney on Saturday and carry a heavy heart for Brian's family and all who knew him. Too often, we take our lives for granted instead of living every moment to the fullest. It was a sad day indeed to hear what happened to Brian on Sat., great guy and great friend. It's still hard to believe that it's really happened cause we were all just hanging and having a ball at Disney not too long ago. He will be missed very much, and hope you all say a prayer for this great kid.....

Lord our God, You are always faithful and quick to show mercy. Brian was suddenly taken from us. Come swiftly to his aid, have mercy on him, and comfort his family and friends by the power and protection of the cross. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.....
